unless otherwise noted, Red Bison meetings are every Sunday at 1pm in front of the University YMCA, which is located on the corner of Wright and Chalmers, directly across from Lincoln Hall.

Most Red Bison meetings take the form of informal but productive workdays on our prairie, woodland, or GPF stewarded sites. For these meetings/workdays it is advised that you wear close-toed shoes and long pants and bring a water bottle. Meeting times/dates are posted weekly to our listserv (REDBISON@listserv.illinois.edu), which anyone is welcome to join by contacting Sarah Menning (menning1@illinois.edu).

workdays

All Red Bison workdays are on Sundays unless otherwise noted. Meet at the YMCA at 1 pm!

Additionally, there are workdays at the Urbana Park District's Busey Woods on the first and third Saturday of every month that you can attend independent of Red Bison. Meet at the Anita Purves Nature Center at 9am. Ask Sarah if you need directions.

On top of that, there are workdays at Meadowbrook Park in Urbana on the fourth Saturday of every month that you can attend independent of Red Bison. Meet at the Race Street Parking lot of Meadowbrook. Ask Sarah if you need directions.

Lastly, Grand Prairie Friends requests help from Red Bison. They have a variety of sites across the state and usually arrange some sort of carpool. Check their website for more info.
